This chronicles my search for both the very best rum and the best rum value for mixing in Caffeine-Free Diet Coke. I’ve rated well over 60 rums for taste and value. I have been surprised how many outstanding rums I've found--and how much better many are than what I had been drinking. Of course, a few of them are very expensive, but there are some incredible values to be enjoyed.

Rum: Cruzan Estate Light Rum, Aged 2 Years, St. Croix Rating:5Proof: 80
This one surprised me. Good flavor. For a light, recreational rum, this one works.
