This chronicles my search for both the very best rum and the best rum value for mixing in Caffeine-Free Diet Coke. I’ve rated well over 60 rums for taste and value. I have been surprised how many outstanding rums I've found--and how much better many are than what I had been drinking. Of course, a few of them are very expensive, but there are some incredible values to be enjoyed.

Rum: Don Q Gran Anejo, Aged 2 Years, Puerto Rico Rating:6Proof: 80
Saw the bottle being sampled by Chef Paul Qui, winner of Top Chef. Had to try it. Disappointed. Qui was top. Q was 6.
